The list isn't even consistent by what's officially considered vintage or obsolete. The early 2009 and late 2009 iMacs have a different form factor, but their core architecture is largely similar, yet the late 2009s make the cut but the early 2009s don't. The 4th and 5th generation Mac Pros are so identical that all their parts are freely interchangeable, yet only the 5th generation ones make this list. Similarly, the 2009 Mac Mini is also very similar from a hardware and spec perspective to the 2009 unibody white MacBook, but it does not make the list. For example, the 2008 aluminum unibody MacBook and 2009 13' unibody MacBook Pro do not make the list but are virtually identical (from a spec perspective) to the 20 unibody white MacBooks which do make the list. If you look at the list, there are some machines that do not make the list which are virtually identical to others that do.
